But it’s just reverse – I am knitting so much, that I haven’t got time for updating the blog.
I have finished the shawl. Yesterday I made some fast shots in a break in the bad weather.
As usual I now know ho to knit the next shawl and I think I start a new one.
Just now it’s about wristlets and mittens.
A couple of weeks ago I spent a day in Den Gamle By in Århus, drawing and taking pictures of their old wristlets. They had some very beautiful among them and a very interesting pair, knitted in a diagonal way. I have never seen that before.
The picture shows some violet copies from the old one and a pair inspired of the diagonal knitting.
The mittens are knitted of selfstriping yarn. Until now I have used Kauni and different kind of Noro (I had a wonderful packet from Victoria) and maybe I will try something else.
I want to end up with a small collection of patterns, mostly for inspiration in the same way as I did with the hats.
